Why is it that Beauty and Pain both go hand in hand?
They seem to co-exist together, in a delicate balance, where one results from the other and vice versa. Removing one will banish the other.
Subjecting our bodies to routine torture and suddenly we're closer to attaining beauty.
Exercise, surgery, hair removal... Great abuse for the beautified.
In many ways, it's a cruel ritual, a cruel desire, but it also has the ability to separate from the public the ones who are brave and strong enough for this.
Lets admit it, beauty isn't for everyone. As much as we like to snarl and glare at the hard bodies and pretty faces that passes us on the streets, it becomes hard to admit that they worked hard for it. You want the looks, you gotta deal out the time, the committment, the endurance, the persistence.
Trainers to the stars say a celebrity commit themselves to working out 2 hours a day. The general itinerary: 6 hours (1 hr/day) of cardio with 7 hours (1 hr/day) of toning... over and over again.
